Wade Properties are taking the problem of COVID -19 seriously and are following all Government Guidelines.

We accept and understand this has had an unexpected impact on all of us, not lease financially.
​
Our position on rent:-
1. If you are in receipt of rent by way of Housing Benefit or Universal Credit whether you have it paid direct to us or to yourselves there should be no material change to your rent payments or top-up / charges affordability.
​
2. If you are working or self employed. Under the Furlough rules you will still receive 80% of your salary. On this basis and to work with you during this period we will expect at least 80% of your rent to be paid until you return to work. The remaining 20% will be deferred until things return to normal where we will work out a payment plan with you in a 6 month time scale.
​
3. Any arrears in place before "lock down" are still "arrears" and need to be paid in accordance with any payment we have agreed.
​
In all cases you need to discuss with us at the earliest opportunity any financial issues you might be having or foresee in the future.
